Best Kamala Harris Empowering Quotes:

During Black Girls Lead Conference 2020

“There will be a resistance to your ambition. There will be people who say to you, ‘you are out of your lane.’ “

“They are burdened by only having the capacity to see what has always been instead of what can be. But don’t you let that burden you.” She added. “I want you to be ambitious.”

The Vice President is an icon of representation for Black women and women’s equality. Evident early on in one of the 2020 presidential candidate debates, she delivered a powerful message on racism and busing with her now-iconic phrase, “That little girl was me.”

Vice President Harris believes in every woman to believe in herself and perform with her maximum capacity. Do not listen when anybody dares to tell you that it’s not your time or it’s not your turn, or they are not ready for you. Women have an equal voice, and she has proved through her own perception of an all-inclusive country that now is the time.

Kamala Harris on courageous acts, ambition and conviction

“Dream with ambition, lead with conviction, and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they’ve never seen it before.”

Black Lives Matter and the racial injustices Black Americans face

“Let’s speak the truth: People are protesting because Black people have been treated as less than human in America. Because our country has never fully addressed the systemic racism that has plagued our country since its earliest days. It is the duty of every American to fix. No longer can some wait on the sidelines, hoping for incremental change. In times like this, silence is complicity.”

Vice President Kamala Harris says never give up

“Don’t give up – our country needs you now more than ever. This is a pivotal moment in the history of our country: Our ideals are at stake, and we all have to fight for who we are.
