Modern farmhouse style at the beach— so simply shabby chic!
We’re heading west right after Christmas, and I can’t wait! Las Vegas and Los Angeles, here we come!
That’s why this year I’m only decorating with one tree instead of the two or three full size trees that I usually put up for the holidays.
This tree is my little beach house tree.
It’s only a little taller than me!
I love how shabby chic and petite this tree is. A 5.5 ft Balsam fir that’s so easy to set up.
Easy to carry and small enough to store back in its original box. You do have to string lights on it, but I don’t mind. Seeing the string on the lights adds to its purposeful shabby style!
White Monochromatic Color Scheme
I opted for a monochromatic color scheme when I was choosing this year’s ornaments.
Last year I bought new ornaments that I used on this same tree in our Aprés Ski theme. Although I love last year’s decorations, I really wanted this year’s Christmas ornaments to match the new furniture and decor in our living room.
I already had the creme color Hearth and Hand ornamnets with the little x’s that match the tree skirt. Then I came across these clear and pearlized ornaments at Target in their mix and match ornament section for only $1.00 a ball.
I knew this was my opportunity to change up my style at a really affordable price. Target does it again!
