The Opposite of Hate Is Love

I’m making it my mission to spread love everywhere I can this holiday season and beyond! Even in what I wear!

I fell in love with the style of this dress as soon as I saw it online. It has such flare with beautiful tiered ruffle sleeves, two-tone color paneling, and above all the artsy, handwritten graffiti only on the back.

BUT…I didn’t think the message in the graffiti represented me at all.

That’s until I reimagined it through my own point of view. You know, through my whimsical lenses.

So, I grabbed a paintbrush and a few bottles of acrylic paint to make this look all my own.

And just like that, I was back at it! Spreading Love; and never hate!

A reminder that no act of kindness is too small.

I originally shared a picture of this dress on Instagram this week to honor International Human Rights Day.

It was such a joy to read all the positive comments (HERE) and to enjoy other posts from the day collected at the hashtag #NationalHumanRightsDay.

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Where Is the Love?

I found a lot of love here at the Norfolk Premium Outlets.

A shopping destination for anyone and everyone on your Christmas list. There was plenty of parking, beautiful holiday decorations for photo opps (my fave), life-size games and a play park for the kiddos.

And of course, the reason I came; a variety of premium outlet stores like Nike, Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade, Tory Burch and Coach, just to name a few.

There is also a food court for refueling in between shops, along with plenty of outdoor, umbrella covered seating.

For The Misters, there’s pillow soft seating alongside the shops. Perfect for the times when he wants to take a break and just hand me the wallet to go in on my own! Ha, Ha!

I also love that they didn’t forget the nostalgia.

They included a pier that leads to a gazebo overlooking a scenic lake with beautiful water fountains.
