Norfolk Botanical Garden

I’ve partnered with Visit Norfolk to share with you some of my favorite attractions in Norfolk, Virginia.

If you follow my Instagram Stories, then perhaps you have seen some of my visits to the Norfolk Botanical Garden.

I also shared this post HERE.

All of the pictures were taken in these magnificent gardens at the start of the summer season.

My favorite of the gardens in this historic Norfolk attraction is the Rose Garden.

Even in the later seasons, the garden is still so beautiful, and smells so good, I should mention. It’s no wonder that this is a favorite choice of brides for their wedding venue.

Both the Japanese Garden and the Rose Garden have fanciful water fountains and chapel style gazebos right in the center.

There’s also an actual event facility in the main building on the property. I’ve attended a ceremony here in the past, and it was such a treat to enter the gardens for reception after the formal proceedings indoors.

Winter Rose Garden Dress

On this visit to the gardens, I chose to wear this velvet, mermaid style dress, care of my friends at SheIn.com

This dress is leading in competition for my Christmas Day outfit, or the dress I’ll wear to the first holiday party that I attend this year!

Mermaid style, stretch velvet fit, with red floral details and your choice of either red or pink tassel belts.

This beautiful ensemble is designed to be a holiday wardrobe classic in your closet. Especially since it’s under $30!

This dress is a bed of roses in fit, flatter and price!
