Easy Rug Layering Tips

An easy way to add character to any room is via rug layering! Rug layering can be area rugs over carpet, or rug on rug. It’s such an easy spruce up for a whole lot of comfy, cozy and whimsy. Notice in my home I’ve added rug on rug on rug on carpet! Still not sure? Here are a couple of easy tips to get layering:

~Select a large neutral rug to start with

~Add a smaller, colorful rug on top for textural and visual interest

~Place your larger rug square with the room

~Place the second rug at an angle on top
