If there’s one gift that sisters Kim K and Kylie J have given us, then it’s definitely their Instagram masterclass on how to pose for an Insta-worthy image.
Their social media posts have been the free gift all along that evolved into their billion-dollar cosmetic industries!
Point proved that it’s better to give than to receive. In this case, it *pays* to give!
Sisters are doing it for themselves, and I ain’t mad at ’em!
From perfect picture lighting to how to use social media in business, there are many helpful Kardashian-Jenner tips that we were gifted.
As an entrepreneur, influencer and business coach, I’m always looking for ways to level-up my marketing strategies, especially with name recognition and by infusing more technology into my business.
A freebie, aka a download, tutorial or video of expert advice, is always a good strategy for letting new customers and subscribers know “what’s in it for them?” and why they should sign-up to shop or hear more from you on your blog or website.
Kim and Kylie have given us freebies in the form of countless pictures and videos on social media, from taking the perfect selfie to how to line the perfect lip.
Their global giving game is unrivaled, as are their global reach capabilities through social media, which is exactly why they have a ginormous following! They’re audience subconsciously knows that there’s something in it for them when they choose to sign-up to their brand pages.

Kylie Jenner Sells $600 Million Majority Stake in Beauty Business
Instagram influencer say whaaa?!
Yep! The youngest— and wealthiest of the KJ fam does it again! Selling off a majority stake to Coty Inc., who you may know better from their household-name beauty brands like Cover Girl and OPI– amongst many others.
And why would Coty want to partner with Kylie? I can think of a *billion* reasons why ($$$)— but we’ll just concentrate on a few of those reasons for today, starting with name recognition.
Even without her famous last name— just say “Kylie” and we all know who we’re talking about— and we automatically think cosmetics.
Brands realize that they are stronger with the power of influencers. And girlfriend, here is a triple-threat. Name, audience AND *her own* product brand.
Kardashian-Jenner lessons learned beyond Instagram and reality TV
In the real world, beyond social media, bloggers, influencers and entrepreneurs should be asking ourselves these questions.
1. What’s our audience’s favorite radio station?
Answer: It’s probably a podcast station, and it would be “WIFM”— “What’s in it for me?”
That’s what your audience wants to know. If I follow or sign-up with you, “What’s in it for me?”
Are you inviting new customers and subscribers with a “WIFM” freebie upon sign-up?
2. What’s your brand superpower? What’s your single, double or triple-threat?
I have more, but one of mine is: Forbes said yes to me— now it’s your turn!
